Who We Are
Introduction:
Here’s a simple explanation of our agreement at Virginia Water Airport Cabs. When you book a minicab and use our service, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined here.
Definitions:
In this agreement, “Virginia Water Airport Cabs,” “we,” or “us” refers to the service provider, while “you” includes anyone making a reservation with us, be it an individual, business, or company.
Booking:
2.1 Make sure to allocate enough time for your journey, especially for airport transfers. Virginia Water Airport Cabs isn’t responsible for delays due to your failure to plan adequately.
2.2 Choose a vehicle size that fits your passengers and luggage. Virginia Water Airport Cabs doesn’t guarantee carrying excessive luggage, and a child counts as a single passenger.
2.3 Specify if you need wheelchair access when booking.
Prices & Payment:
3.1 Our prices, excluding VAT, are based on the information you provide. We may adjust the price for substantial itinerary changes.
3.2 The quoted price includes a 45-minute waiting period after landing, along with airport parking charges. Additional waiting time is subject to our standard rates.
3.3 Review the booking confirmation for accuracy upon receiving it. Notify us of any errors to avoid delays or extra costs.
3.4 Payment can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service:
4.1 You are responsible for your passengers’ behavior. Any damage caused by passengers may result in cleaning fees.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking in the vehicle is not allowed.
4.3 Ensure proper restraint for all children based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We cannot exceed passenger limits set by licensing or insurance.
Cancellations:
5.1 Notify us as soon as possible for cancellations. After dispatch, a charge applies based on the driver’s covered time and distance.
5.2 Online bookings may incur charges if canceled before dispatch.
Liability:
6.1 Virginia Water Airport Cabs isn’t liable for losses due to delays beyond our control.
6.2 You assume all risk for your luggage.
6.3 In case of a breakdown, we’ll provide an alternative vehicle.
6.4 You agree not to hold us liable for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses.
6.5 Certain liabilities, like personal injury, cannot be excluded or limited.
Termination:
7.1 We can terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any risk is posed by abuse, violence, or damage. No refunds for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous:
8.1 We may delegate our obligations. You can’t transfer rights or obligations.
8.2 We can update these terms; check regularly. Existing bookings honor the rates at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information according to the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement is the entire agreement between us.
8.5 These terms don’t benefit third parties unless specified in writing.
Disputes:
Any claim must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims made after this won’t be entertained.
